Modeling of Lithium Plating and Stripping Dynamics during Fast Charging

چکیده

This paper proposes a new model that predicts the cell voltage dynamics and capacity degradation induced by lithium plating stripping. The proposed uses single equilibrium reaction to describe deposition dissolution of metallic lithium, predicting partial reversibility plating/stripping reaction, characteristic plateau during relaxation, loss due Loss Cyclable Lithium (LCL). is integrated with Doyle–Fuller–Newman (DFN) electrochemical model, calibrated validated experimental data. has potential improve accuracy effects in Li-ion cells aid development Extreme Fast Charging (XFC) technology for BEVs.
